We are committed to providing high-quality products designed to ensure your safety in various work environments. As part of our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, all ZERO Height Safety products come with a comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty.

 

Your Rights Under Consumer Law

ZERO Height Safety products are supplied in New Zealand, Australia, Europe, and the UK. As a consumer, you are entitled to statutory rights under the applicable consumer protection laws in your region. These rights are in addition to our manufacturer’s warranty and cannot be excluded or limited by any terms of this warranty.

 

New Zealand

In New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) provides guarantees that goods are of acceptable quality, fit for their intended purpose, and match their description. These guarantees apply automatically and cannot be excluded or limited by this warranty.

 

Australia

In Australia, the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provides guarantees that goods are of acceptable quality, fit for their intended purpose, and match their description. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by this warranty.

 

Europe

In Europe, consumers are protected under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and local consumer laws of the country of purchase. These regulations ensure that goods are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product does not meet these requirements, consumers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

 

United Kingdom

In the UK, consumers are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which ensures that goods are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product fails to meet these standards, consumers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by this warranty.

This warranty provides additional benefits and does not override or limit your statutory rights under any applicable consumer law.

 

Manufacturer's Warranty Coverage

ZERO Height Safety warrants our fall protection, abseil, and helmet PPE against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. During this warranty period, if any defects arise under normal and proper use of the product, we will repair or replace the defective product at our discretion, free of charge.

 

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, alterations, improper maintenance, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions and specifications. Any modifications made to the product outside of the manufacturer’s specifications will void this warranty. Additionally, this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or damage caused by acts of nature or unforeseen circumstances.

 

Claim Procedure

If you believe your ZERO Height Safety product is defective and eligible for warranty service, please follow the steps below:

 

Contacting ZERO Customer Support: Reach out to our customer service team at sales@zeroheightsafety.com within the warranty period. Our team will guide you through the warranty claim process, which includes providing proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

Returning the Product: The product must be returned via the place of purchase along with a completed warranty form. Our customer support team will provide guidance on the necessary documentation and the return process.

Product Inspection and Evaluation: Once the product is received, a Certified ZERO Service Technician will inspect the product to determine if the issue qualifies as a warranty claim:

  • If the issue is covered under warranty, the product will either be repaired or replaced at no cost. If a replacement is not possible and an alternative product is available, it will be offered to you at no additional cost.
  • If the product cannot be repaired or replaced, the distributor (place of purchase) will issue a refund.
  • If the issue is not covered under warranty, the customer will be informed, and the product will be returned. The customer will have the option to get the product repaired or replaced at their own cost.

Repair Process: If the product can be repaired, a Certified ZERO Service Technician will carry out the necessary repairs and return the product to you once the repair process is complete.

 

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall ZERO Height Safety be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of business, or injury to persons or property. Our liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product, as provided in this warranty statement.

 

Rights and Remedies

This warranty provides benefits in addition to your statutory rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Australian Consumer Law, EU Consumer Rights Directive, and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. It does not exclude or limit any rights or remedies you may have under the applicable consumer laws.
