The ZERO range of harnesses and lanyards is to be cleaned in accordance with the below procedures.
DO NOT put personal protection equipment in a clothes dryer or use a blow dryer. Excessive heat may melt the webbing and alter its strength. DO NOT use chemicals to clean heavily soiled gear. Chemicals may destroy webbing, equipment and function.
SOAP SOLUTION
Preparation

Prepare a solution of soap and warm water in a suitable container. The water temperature must be Luke warm at approximately 25 degrees Celsius.

Thoroughly wash the harness and rinse under a tap until and soap residue is removed. Remove and allow to drip dry. Wipe dry all metal and plastic fittings.

Hang the harness on a hanger and suspend it in a warm area to dry, ensure temperatures are not in excess of 38 degrees Celsius (do not place it near any radiant heating supply).

Ensure all webbing components are kept clear from direct sunlight.
SALTWATER IMMERSED
Preparation

Prepare a solution of salt and warm water in a suitable container.

Immerse the webbing in the water, work in, and squeeze it for approximately 5 minutes, or until all traces of salt have been removed.

Remove the PPE and rinse gently.

Allow to drip dry. Wipe dry all metal and plastic fittings.
Drying:

Hang the harness on a hanger and suspend it in a warm area to dry, ensure temperatures are not in excess of 38 degrees Celsius (do not place it near any radiant heating supply).

Ensure all webbing components are kept clear from direct sunlight.
INSPECTION

Ensure all items are inspected in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance.
